The Big Reveal

So, that song I was talking about, the one that I can't stop singing???

We move to San Jose, California at the beginning of October (so although I don't currently know the way, I guess we will be experts on that soon enough!). A bit of a change from Scandinavia I guess! As much as we are going to miss it here, we are all looking forward to a new challenge, my husband as he starts a brand new job, and myself as we start a brand new country! It will hopefully be a great experience for another year or three, and if I start a new blog, I hope you will follow me on the next chapter!?

In the meantime we are looking forward to spending the summer here, and packing as much in as we possibly can...

  2. Oh my gosh! California - could you get anything more different. Well, at least you don't have to learn a new language and you may find bears in your garden.
So exciting!!!! start a new blog, start a new blog....

  3. Awesome! Congrats. I used to live in (southern) California. I spent some great youthful weeks wandering around central and coastal California, Steinbeck country and Yosemite. Cali is pretty close to heaven. Have a great time, hope the move goes smoothly :)

@Frankie, thank you! I expect I will do a new blog, I just need to think of a decent name now (any ideas, please forward on a postcard to!)...

@helloitsgemma... Thank you! Yes, can you imagine? Bears instead of Deer!!

@Rachel - thank you! It's good to hear you enjoyed it, it's not a part of the US I have been to before, so I know nothing so to speak!

  7. Oh wow! What an amazing opportunity, what fun. Yes start a new blog but what about this one? Where will it go, it's part of you, part of you're shared history, I can't bear to think of all this work being made redundant. You must have a link to it on the new one and please do start a new one

  9. Wow! That's brilliant news, how exciting. So is the blog going to become A Californian Chillax? San Jose Soujourn works much better though. Are you going for places with S in from now on? You could just change the blog's name without changing the URL in blogger though?

  12. Ah good luck! San Jose is nice. Close to Monterey. And there is Tahoe just a few hours away. So you'll still have the snow!
